To have a doctor even imply a patient might have cancer, then leave that patient hanging for a week or more while a referral is arranged for a speciailist makes it very hard. Then after the referral it is going to take more time to get an appointment. The patient, meanwhile, loses sleep, and becomes very stressed. I am the type that refuses to wait for a diagnosis so I'm on the internet finding home remedies, a couple of them rather radical. This is not the way it should be. I have been using those alternatives because I'm scared. If I have cancer, I feel like I'm doing something to help myselt. I do like my doctor, but fear like the threat of cancer is so frightening and overwhelming .... That's all I have to say.
