I talked with Jon Angell at Angell & Co regarding way overdue taxes to start the process of filing these returns. I paid for 4 years of tax returns. Jon Angell did 3 years of tax returns, told me to write checks to whoever I owed and mail them out. Mr. Angell knew through initial conversation my history of IRS taking entire monthly checks for several years so I had no income, of losing my house, I am on disability and was trying to do the right thing by getting tax returns filed. I scraped to pay him for tax returns and was and still am on disability. I was never offered any help re his office having contact with IRS. The 3 years that he did had me owing over $10,000 and again handed me the returns with instructions to write the checks and send in returns. I had to hire a tax attorney to handle this for me. I have since, on 3 different occasions, faxed over to Jon Angell letters requesting a refund for the 4th year that he did not prepare along with a letter from IRS where they made a correction on one of the three years and the statement showing what I initially paid him up front. Jon Angell and Angell and Co have not even had respect to acknowledge my request. I am on disability and struggling on a monthly basis to cover basics. I keep cutting expenses even when I shouldn’t and my son has seizures so he cannot hold a job. If he is up front, he doesn’t get hired. If he tells employers in the first day or two of being hired, they find ways to push him out. I would like Angell and Co to refund my one year that was not done. I am sure that refunding one year will not put a cramp in their style but would greatly benefit my situation.
