We bought a 2019 F150 from Dale in November, 2020 and it was a super easy transaction. Zero pressure sales, truck was waiting up front when I arrived for a test drive and was fully prepped and waiting when I came back for delivery. But what prompted this review was how Dale and City of Cars stood behind the sale 7 months later when I found an issue that I didn't notice before purchase. I was really impressed with how they responded and did what they could to help resolve the problem. They never pushed back or made excuses; it was clear they just wanted to make it right for the customer. They also did not ask for a "good review" or anything in return - this is an honest family business and that's pretty rare in the used car sales industry. Love my truck!

Had a wonderful experience, trade in value was greater than any other dealership with no haggling. Work with me on the amount of the car and extended warranty. Took care of recall within a timely manner before pick up. Would recommend to friends and family. Was disappointed the car wasn't as clean as I hope to be and fluids were low.

This company has no integrity. You put the customer first, you don't cater to people in your circle before the customer. I would caution anyone thinking about going here, just know that they have a shady business practice and rank really low on the ethics chart.

I bought a car a few weeks ago from City of Cars. I was so nervous because it was my first time buying from an independent dealer. I am so glad I bought from there. They were so accommodating and honest about everything and the whole process. Not only that, but I had a small problem with my window weeks after that they fixed for free no questions asked. I would absolutely buy another car here and recommend anyone I know to do that same! Thank you City of Cars!

I cannot say enough wonderful things about Asher and this company. I live in New Orleans, and could not find the car I wanted anywhere near where I live. Never in my wildest dreams would I have thought that I would buy a car without seeing or driving it first. However, I did just that! I found my dream car online and had the most wonderful experience. I would HIGHLY recommend City of Cars as being reliable, trustworthy, and a pleasure to deal with!

If you're doing some long-distance shopping and considering this place - you've been drinking your smart juice! We live 10 hours away and drove through the night to buy from City of Cars.



Not only was the deal "that good" - but so were the dealers! I'd been hunting for over two weeks and spoken with some great dealers, but Asher really stood out. He really took his time to answer all my questions and even went over warantee options and prices (turned out to be a great deal & we got that too).



He went out to the car and went over the whole thing inside and out to tell me about every ding he could find - wanting to make sure it was worth the trip for us and that we'd know exactly what we were getting.



Then - about 1/2 hour from arriving, we discovered a miscommunication that could have jepordized the whole deal. We were were frantically trying to figure out a solution but when we showed up, Asher and worked it out with Jon and they'd come up with a very, good creative solution that saved us from disaster.



To tell the truth - Asher did not look like your typical car salesman - more like a artist, biker dude - but don't let that put you off. I was impressed that he was a dedicated family man and an extremely knowledgeable, professional. He didn't have to come in on his day off to take care of us, but he sacrificed and came to make sure we were taken care of.



He also surprised us with extra bonuses - unnecessary - since he knew we were already sold - but he showed over-the-top kindness to us.



This is a long review - but I wanted to take just a minute more to think Otto - the owner - for being so genuinely warm with us. From what we could see - most - if not all of his inventory - is kept safe inside, away from the elements.



We LOVE our new Town and Country and would be happy to do business with these folks again and again. High 5's guys!

City of Cars was a pleasure to work with. I purchased a vehicle with no hassles. Asher referred me to a lender for financing and they were great to work with too. I have bought and sold many cars in my life and can say without hesitation that City of Cars was one of the easiest sellers to deal with.



I did read the reviews here before I chose to visit City of Cars and I urge you to see for yourself. As for the few negative comments, keep in mind that there are always two sides to every story and the integrity it takes to respond to negative comments is immeasurable.

This place was great! They were all very helpful, and treated us the way a customer SHOULD be treated. Asher showed me flaw the car has (which I knew going in, I mean, it's a USED car) and told me how much it would cost to fix them, if they needed fixing. To make things better, they even took care of them FOR me, instead of making me go do it.

That's class.

It's rare to find genuinely kind people like these guys.

Otto, the owner, even came out and introduced himself and promised me quality.

And that's what I got. Both in my Lexus and in Customer Service.

Shopping for a new or used car isnt easy.. you just dont know who you can trust, you dont know if you are really getting a good deal or not, I know how I felt, but then I stumbled upon the guys at City of Cars in Troy, I was a bit skeptical at first because they were so up front and honest, the business is very different from shopping at a car dealership with all the pushy or mostly lazy sales people.. the guys here were actually happy to help out, they were patient and very nice, I was pleasantly surprised... we werent sure we would ever really enjoy car shopping, but these guys really changed our perspective... they seem to know everyone in the business, the variety of vehicles is awesome , the referrals to the BEST banks for finance options were extremely helpful.. I really cant say enough nice things about this experience.. while we visited, there were several other customers around who you would think were friends with these people for life but we found out they were just like us trying to find a good honest place we can buy from for life.. Thank you ALL ..you have restored our faith in the car business.. City of Cars is the BEST Car place with the BEST CAR PEOPLE !!

Purchased a Liberty here a few weeks ago. John and Otto were very informative and spent a lot of time with my wife and me. There was no pressure and I got the car for less than at other dealerships. With the sale they gave me the names of their suppliers so that I could get lower prices in the future. We were very happy with all aspects of the deal. Thanx guys!

I have looked over these reviews and can't believe this is the same place or people I spoke to.. I am not sure how someone could "doctor" up a Car Fax when they run it right from the website as you are stilling there like the one person claimed.. Everyone at City of Cars was nice and informative and very fair.. they have really nice cars and some cheap "fixer upers" too, I like that they arent claiming to be some kind of arrogant highline exclusive dealer. I looked at the complainers other feedback and it seems like nothing can make her happy, and her friends all jumped on board to blast an innocent small business because she regrets the car she bought.. I would highly recommend City of Cars.. they are fair and easy to deal with.

I only rate this business as a one due to the fact that they had been very dishonest..The car that I did purchase which came with a complete CarFax report did seem to be in excellent condition. There was no body damage/rust and the interior looked brand new..I was told by the dealer that there was one small problem that would cost roughly $400 to fix..Not a big deal considering the fact that the car was BEAUTIFUL otherwise...Once I got the car home and into a mechanic for an oil change, I was horrified to discover that the actual issue at hand was a serious safety issue. In fact this issue could have causde a deadly accident while driving on the freeway if it was to finally give. The entire strut tower/left upper arm control had rusted all the way through and was quick fixed by City of Cars with auto putty...Yeah! Not only could I have been seriously injured in a car accident, but my $400 fix turned out to be $1300...Thanks City of Cars for being so honest and concerned about my safety...
