Worst customer service I've ever received in banking. Reminds me of driving on Michigan roads. Or drinking lead filled water.

Let me tell you a story about MSGCU. After getting a divorce and having to start over, they were such a blessing. I had children to provide for and very little credit. They were very kind, reasonable and fast about giving me an affordable car loan and then offered me a credit card. The first one I had in years. I did very well paying all of this and was so happy that I referred friends, family, announced how wonderful they were to anyone who would listen to me. They've since done about three car loans and two mortgages because of me. I wish I could take it all back. It all started in December when I was harassed and then assaulted at work and had a nervous breakdown at Christmas time. I was unable to get out of bed and declared suicidal. My husband left me - pregnant with no income. I was three days late on the car and at the grocery store when they froze my bank account with my child in tow. The paychecks stopped rolling in while I was waiting for disability to kick in and that has taken months. I tried calling customer service to sort it out but everyone I talked to was just so rude that in my mental state, I just couldn't handle it anymore. One day I realized my employer was sending me sick pay. I went to pick up the money and tried to talk to the bank teller. I told him I needed food and that was the only money I had. But they froze my account because everything was so late. I explained that on Friday I was going to get help and could pay for my car finally, I just was hungry and needed the money in checking. The teller didn't care. I lost my car that Friday. I tried to get it back but they don't want me as a member anymore. MSGCU doesn't care about our community or the disabled or poor or hungry. Please boycott this organization.



I forgot to add that Honda has been very good about everything. I can't tell you how helpful and understanding they have been in keeping my other car. It's a shame that a "foreign" car company cares more than a local organization. Shame on you MSGCU!

We asked for help with our mortgage and instead they tricked us into making a few payments before they foreclosed on the home we had for 10 years. Thanks for the help.
