I started here but found it pricey but after going to another location that has been around as long did not seem to have as much knowledge of the newer cars and the canbus systems so it doesn't matter where you go it is kind of a guessing game. I would go back to Mickey Shorr again but maybe another store location.

DON’T TAKE YOUR CAR HERE, THEY MAKE FALSE PROMISES AND EXPECTATIONS! This place is a Joke! I have no idea how the staff like Bryan the Manager, Mike the installer and Joe the assistant manager still have jobs. I recently went back to this Mickey Shore in Troy after many years living in another state. When I was a teenager I remember spending a lot of Money to make sure that my car was equipped with all the lasted and greatest electronics for this particular Mickey Shore Location. Needless to say I went back December 13th 2011, and Bryan the “new store manager”, which he was just a salesperson several years ago, was running the store. All I can say is that “ Wow how things have changed”. In todays economy most companies are under staffed especially in MI, and to think that a business can survive with having the WORST customer service and staff available is a shame! This place Sucks TRUST ME! I’ve purchased many electronics in my life at Mickey Shore and Places Like Best Buy, I’ve even installed remote starts, car alarms and Car Audio systems many times in my life ( which I'm AES certified) And I’ve check there installed product and a 5th grader can do better, and these guys a complete HACKS!
