My 15 year-old dog was cut by a groomer at Somerset's Bloomfield salon on Sat., 5/7/16. By 11:30 the next night, SUNDAY, the wound was badly infected, my dog was shivering and limping, and yellow-gray pus was seeping from the cut. Our only option (this WAS Sunday night) was to take her to an emergency vet service. Her age and overall health (heart problems) were such that we felt it would have been risky to put off having her examined until Mon. morning. She was anesthetized and the cut was debrided, sutured, and a drainage tube was inserted; they sent her home the next day with antibiotics and pain meds. The bill was for $597. Somerset's owner was annoyed that we didn't call her before having our dog seen (at 11:30 Sun. night??) and let her have her less expensive vet deal with the problem. Her insurance company called today (12+ wk. later) to offer me reimbursement of 50% of my expenses. Somerset clearly only cares about your pet's well-being until one of their groomers is careless.

Did a GREAT JOB! Owner was very nice and affortable.

Owner very friendly-does not overcharge. Very fair. Doesn't keep dog all day-usually 1 hour or so.

Has specials during week. Why go anywhere else?
