Greg Cholakis is not only an outstanding attorney--in and out of the courtroom--but a great man, worthy of the respect garnered by his father before him. A Troy native and an avid champion of the community, Greg connects with people in a way that one would not expect from a lawyer. He is a caring human being who sees his clients as people, not merely as tasks to be done or won.

Greg represented my husband in a case that spanned more than a year. He gave up much-needed vacations, time with his own family, and perhaps even an easy (and deserved) elected position, all to give our family the best representation possible. A man with his skills could command any dollar figure, and live an extravagant life. Instead, he commits the bulk of his time to the Public Defender's Office, and fights for the rights of those who cannot afford help such as his.
