i really don't mind showing up and having a long wait. i can always come back another time if it's too long to wait at that moment...long hairs will hurt no one. i don't even mind when my 45 minute wait becomes an hour an a half, especially when i can see they've only got a couple girls on. what i mind is paying twenty bucks for two kids to recieve haircuts that look as though i did them myself. in the dark. with safety scissors. another thing i mind is specifically saying my daughter wants her hair out of her face, and watching her have to brush the longer side bangs out of her eyes, because the girl thought they should be let to grow, despite my saying that part of her hair tends to hang forward. of course, she said, rather bitchy-like, it's up to me. so, being anxious to go home and get my kids their supper at 8-something at night, i let it go. i found it not worth the fight. i'm just going to fix my daughter's hair and wait for my son's extremely ragged and crooked hair to grow out.
