The Trumansburg Fire Department offers fire protection and 24-hour emergency care services to more than 70 individuals. The department attends to over 650 calls annually and has a team of firefighters. Its equipment includes rescue pumpers, tankers and ambulance vans. The Trumansburg Fire Department serves the Finger Lakes region of New York. The department also provides fire protection services for residential and commercial clients, lakefront homes and Taughannock Falls State Park. Its rescue pumpers feature gallon tanks, mount pumps, generators, ventilation and chain saws, hurst rams, cutters, tools and spreaders and electric power units. The department also provides ventilation fans, deck guns, and supply and attack lines.
