By The Light Photography’s principal photographer, Christopher Collins, focuses on blending two often conflicting styles of wedding photography into a collection of memories that his client’s will treasure.  Chris’ primary style and passion is wedding photojournalism; a flair for the unscripted.  This style of photography captures moments and emotion rather than poses and static events.  Chris also believes that a prudent wedding photographer cannot neglect wedding portraiture.  It’s an expensive day in which brides and grooms are looking their very best and it would be a shame to miss such an opportunity to capture beautiful portraits.  That said, Chris still leans on his ability to capture life’s unscripted moments even while guiding the script just a little.  Chris had a keen eye for details and emotions and the experience to capture both on film for you!
