Provided by YP.comIf you're looking for excellent dance instruction along with a warm and nurturing atmosphere and wonderful kids, PACC is for you. My daughter has received amazing training in her years at PACC; students regularly move on to superior professional dance companies and/or college programs. However, PACC is more importantly a place that nourishes the arts and the human spirit. Students are bright, creative, and passionate, and their teachers are kind, uber-talented, careful, and generous.

Provided by YP.comIf you are looking for a place that your child will grow and develop while doing something fun that they love, then look no further, Each and every child is valued here for who they are and who they can become. The fellow students, the parents, the amazingly talented teachers and the Director make the environment here second to none, This is my daughters second year here and she and we just love it. The older kids show so much kindness to our younger performers and now I see my daughter (who is only 6) doing the same to the kids that are younger than she, These kids learn to take dance and performing to entirely different level. My daughter has friends from all the surronding towns and different ages, and they all treat each one another with kindness and respect.
I know without a doubt that as my child grows into a teen this will be a second home. This is school is the place to be whether your child wants to dance and sing for the love it or wants to be a prima ballerina one day.
We feel so blessed to be a part of the PACC family.

Provided by YP.comThe Performing Arts Center of Connecticut is hands down the most professional dance school in Connecticut. The dance instructors are degreed dance professionals. My daughter currently attends, and has been there for 4 years taking ballet, jazz and performing arts workshop. Prior to coming to the Performing Arts Center she attended another dance studio which does not even come close. The instructors at that studio did not have degrees and it really shows when you compare to the Performing Arts Center.

Provided by YP.comMy daughter has been dancing at PACC for a year now, she previously spent 6 years at another school. I can't even express in words how different these two studios are, but I can say I wish I had made the move to PACC years ago. I have seen such growth in my daughters dancing in the past year. The instructors are all professionals and they love the kids. All the kids learn to dance well, but they also develop a love and commitment to dance - even from a young age. My daughter has built a large network of friends there and PACC has become her second home.

Provided by YP.comPACC is a place that embodies the soul with passion, love and creativity. PACC is in tune with the needs of our individual gifts, and helps us to develop them beyond our imagination; encouraging each student young and old to embrace the life we have been blessed with. PACC is a place where no one has gone unnoticed.

Provided by YP.comPACC is an organization which develops young adults in dancing and theater arts with an emphasis in growing up to be productive members of society, appreciating that personal values are just as important as the physical skills required for great performances in any performing art. My wife an I look forward to attending their performances, even though we do not have any children- we are lovers of the arts and this local studio brings New York dance and musical theater to Trumbull. Kudos, PACC!

Provided by YP.comWhen my daughter and I attended, on a whim, Performing Arts Center of CT's 1st End of the Year concert at Madison Middle school 5 years ago, little did we know that PACC would become such an integral part of her life. We were blown away by the talent on stage that night, and my daughter has become a part of the PACC "family" in classes and as part of the dance company, In Motion, these past 3 years, (It really is a familial atmosphere, with surrogate mom Cathi LaChioma at the helm!) Not only has my daughter grown as an artist, but real "life lessons" have been learned: mutual respect, integrity, consideration, humility and humanity- dancing not just for yourself or to compete with others, but for the BENEFIT of others- (Special Olympics, Dancers Responding to Aids, Ali's Angels (liver donation), Steven A. Merrihew benefit concert (scholarship to Trumbull HS seniors pursuing fine arts, etc.).
We consider ourselves blessed to have found the Performing Arts Center of CT! Definitely check them out!

Provided by YP.comOur daughters have been a part of PACCs family for four years. Their experiences in their general classes and as IN MOTION company members, has been exceptional. PACCs teachers are professional and are all credentialed from the most prestegious dance programs in the country. This coupled with the dedication of its director, Catherine La Chioma, solidifies PACC as our home away from home. The La Chiomas provide a large, beautiful, immaculate, comprehensive performing arts center for students of all interest levels; from the recreational dancer to the pre-professional looking to enter the arts as a career. PACC iscomplete with several large dance studios, individual voice and instrument lesson offices, and its own Black Box theater . The philosophy at PACC mimics the values we instill in our home. The students are given exceptional instruction in a nurturing atmosphere where individual differences are fostered and accentuated. The students respect , and are respected by, one another and their teachers. We highly recommend you visit and experience PACC for yourself. You will be impressed.

Provided by YP.comPACC is the most loving community out there. The truth is that I have my family at home, as well as my family at PACC. Dancing at PACC for a few years, I've seen the best of the best. That is, the best dancers, the best teachers, and the best people. I learned more about technique and performance in my first two weeks at PACC than I had learned in all of my prior dance training. To be completely honest, I don't know what I would do without my education from PACC, as well as the family that I have become a part of.

Provided by YP.comMy SON, who has been dancing at PACC for three years,
has had superior teaching due to a very high standard of training in the classroom. The teachers are very attentive to each student - kind, but firm.
The showcases in the middle and end of the year are
extrodinary. Students are given roles that truly stretch their dancing ability, self confidence, and give them a true example of a professional recital.( As an ex-professional musical theatre singer/dancer, I am thrilled to have found PACC for my son. It has expanded his life so very much!)

Provided by YP.comI personally do not have a child enrolled at PACC, but I attend their dance functions to see friends perform at special events. PACC never fails to deliver fabulous examples of different dance/musical genres. The quality is amazing! I have been to other performance studio events, but they pale in comparison to the presentations I have seen here. Truly professional; truly enjoyable!

Provided by YP.comMy daughter has been dancing for 10 years. We have tried 3 other schools in the area until we finally found PACC. The instructors are all extremely talented and well trained professionals. Not only is PACC about dance but their is also musical theatre, voice and instrument lessons, adult classes, etc. Visit their website for a much more detailed description of all that PACC has to offer. Most definately a 5 star rating!

Provided by YP.comI've watched my daughter grow up at PACC, both as a dancer and a person. The professionalism of their program can not be touched by other local studios, and the dancers, singers, actors and musicians are treated like they are part of a family. The instruction and support the kids receive is exceptional!

Provided by YP.comPACC as it has become to be known, is more than a Dance Studio it is to the participants a life expierience. As a Father of two girls, I can attest that our PACC affiliation has been a rich envirenment that fosters a continuation of the support and consideration we share in our own home. The Dance skills that some of these young people attain is nothing short of awe inspiring. The Instructors are performers, artists themselves in every sense of the word, they bring integrity, honesty and a perspective that transends Dance. The life lessons and skills the students recieve are palpable and are evident in the growth I have witnessed not only in my own children but in many of the kids I have watched these past few years... Five Stars are just not enough.
