Provided by YP.comI have been going to Dr.Waynik for approximately 7 years . I find him to be a brilliant professional who has guided me through many difficult life choices. He is kind , non- judgmental , caring and sincere. He is professional , courteous and an expert in his field . He is extremely knowledgeable in all aspects of psychiatric care and allows you to be an active partner in choosing what best fits your lifestyle. He takes time to listen to your concerns and provides expert and professional feedback . He has always expressed that he is available by phone for questions or concerns .
I highly recommend him to anyone needing psychiatric care and treatment .
He has a lovely and helpful office staff at both locations .

Provided by YPmobileI would not recommend this practice. I've been disappointed since my first interaction and no signs of improvement yet. Will not be returning.

Provided by YPmobileDr Weiner has been a real ally in helping me with my struggles. He is patient, thoughtful, and explains clearly the logic behind his suggestions and coaching. I have made a lot of progress in the year he has treated me.

Provided by YP.comAll in all not a horrible practice considering the volume of patients they see everyday. I've been a patient of this practice since childhood, and although I, at times was unhappy with, or even disagreed with a diagnosis; I remembered that all doctors only have subjectivity in these matters of mental health. That being said I still feel that I receive excellent care tailored to my wants and needs, no one has ever tried to convert my way of thinking about my mental health and that ranks high on my list. I've seen others complain about billing problems-- which I've never had the 10+ years I've been there, and they have been flexible with late fees etc. at least in my case. Because of the high patient volume you will wind up waiting for an appointment at least ten minutes past the given time, but those of us who are patient patients remain patient. I'd definitely recommend their fairfield office because the trumbull office staff is just a bunch of 20 something drama queens. I've been at pizza restaurants with 17 year olds more pleasant than the trumbull staff....

Provided by YP.comI saw Dr. Weiner in his private practice many years before he started practicing in CT. My experience was generally negative. I had problems with him not showing up for scheduled appointments or cancelling frequently. If I needed to call he often did not return calls or acted irritated about having to call back. He gave little to no feedback or input, and half the time I didn't know if I was making progress or just paying money to have someone sit there and listen to me talk. Any time I was uncomfortable with things he suggested he would get confrontational and suggest that I did not want his help. If you want an actual therapeutic relationship, or a doctor patient relationship where you get to have input, I suggest you look elsewhere. I did not feel respected or validated.

Provided by YP.comDon't go to this Doctor! I wish I had read the previous review because it is exactly right!. What a dreadful experience with this doctor (he doesn't deserve the title) and my child has suffered because of it.
