Trumbull High School enrolls more than 2,000 students in grades nine through 12. The school is approved by the New England Association of Schools and Colleges. Its curriculum includes a variety of subjects, such as English, social studies, science, mathematics, physical and health education, fine arts and vocational education. Trumbull High School offers courses in world languages, such as French, Spanish and Italian. The school has a library and media center for its students and faculty. It provides transportation and health services to students. The school has an athletics department that organizes a variety of sports competitions for students. It also serves lunch to students and operates a parent-teacher association.
