I had been shopping around receiving estimates to have my parent's floors redone in their vacation home. Mimosa was originally recommended to me since it had been in business for about a decade I believe. I very surprised to find out that it recently had a change of ownership and was almost sad at first. That feeling was quickly uplifted after meeting the new owner Sarah. She is not only extremely knowledgeable, but was so friendly and helpful through the entire process and her team was efficient and beyond professional. I will definitely be recommending them to anyone in the area looking for flooring.

Mimosa was fast and efficient. Mark is a knowledgeable and prolific installer. My floors had horrible subfloors and Mark made my floor smooth and beautiful. The workmanship was excellent and the customer service was top notch. Thank you Mimosa!

I called Mimosa Carpet to see if they would install my pre-finished Armstrong hardwood flooring I purchased from Home Depot. The owner referred me to her brother, their installer Mark Campbell. I would not recommend these installers or Mimosa to my worst enemy. They do not seem to know what they are doing. In an effort to "level" my floor, they made a minor spot horribly worse by extending the unlevel spot to the entire living room. They had not problems putting damaged pieces of wood in prominent spots on my floor until I would point it out. When done, I now have half of my living room as a small ramp in the middle of my floor!!! Day later, at the high spot in the middle of the room, the boards have now swollen and have formed a 2" ridge across where they placed a heap of leveling compound. There is a trip hazard along the middle of my floor. Mark will not come look at what he has caused. After numerous calls, he send two helpers who agreed that is was "messed up". My guess is that Mark applied leveling compound incorrectly, failed to let it dry completely and the moisture wicked into the wood and cause a big mess. I told him that I didn't expect him to fix this for free (even though I believe he should) I just wanted it fixed and would pay for replacement wood if he would just supply the labor to pull up the damaged wood and nail back the new. These people have poor customer service skills and don't know what they are doing. They cause a big mess and do sloppy workmanship.
