We have purchased a sectional, a dinning table set, a kitchen Island, and a bench from them. there is a girl sales woman that is great to work with but as of latest experience with the sectional they didnt deliver the hardware and told us they would mail it to us. so a brand new couch we couldnt use for a week. when asked for some sort of compensation for the inconvenience i was told he would give me 5 dollars. i laughed and said how about you do free delivery and was told that was out of the question and he could offer 5 dollars. if i change my mind let him know. I have never been treated so poorly by a establishment before. out of the 4 items we have purchased we have had problems with 2 of them. Dont buy from them, go to a real store with quality service and product.

Provided by YP.comWe bought a futon a few years ago and were very satisfied, so we decided to go back to buy a kitchen table and chairs with them too. And again the prices were great and Larry was a great saleman..........loved how they don't pressure you in any way!!! Good job Expressions!!!

Be careful. the receipt saves fifty percent down and no returns.Oregon law says purchased items can be returned withing thirty days of acceptance.They get around this by having the no return policy written on the receipt.I went in to change an order, told them I wanted two chairs instead of four, and two benches, and no table.They ordered the table anyway, and four chais,and told me they couldn't change the order.After haggling with them and telling them Sellwood furniture has better prices and better service they agreed to take the table off the table (:)), and only order two chairs instead of four.I am stuck with a king size mattress I ordered-it is in their warehouse, still wrapped in plastic.I bought it because I thought I would be moving, splitting up from my partner but that is not happening.They refuse to return the mattress- then they said it would cost me 300 dollars to return the mattress, and I should try to sell it on craigslist.At this place, the customer does

I was looking for a bedroom set and was told by a friend to check out this store.The salesman helping me was verry helpfulland I saved a lot of money.Most items sold there are specially ordered and I had to wait about 3 weeks and it was well worth it.

We shop at Expressions futon & furniture for all our decor needs. We absolutely love the owners and their family. I have shopped around and found myself returning to them. Great prices and the customers service is outstanding. I recommend them to everyone I know.

Several years ago we bought a full size mattress from this store for our guest bedroom. We absolutely loved the mattress and would often sleep in our guest bedroom just to sleep on it. We still have that "guest" mattress and it is in great condition. After getting that first one, we went back to the store and said we wanted the exact same mattress for our master bedroom (a queen). The salesman spent a lot of time telling us we really didn't want that mattress in a queen but actually wanted a slightly more expensive mattress which was better, would last longer, and would give us the same sleep experience. We believed him and bought the "other" mattress. Within months the recommended mattress was sagging and had craters where we sleep. The support was not the same as our beloved Full mattress. When we returned to the store and asked them to fix or replace the lousy mattress, they said we would have to pay $100 to have it sent to the factory to try to repair! Lousy mattress advic

Provided by YP.comPurchased a coffee table set and when I received it, it was damaged. Upon calling to see about getting replacement shelves for the one end table and the coffee table, customer service was horrible. I had to drive pictures and the damaged items down to them as proof. They were VERY rude over the phone and told my husband he didn't know what he was talking about. The shelves didn't line up and there was NO WAY they were going to screw into the frame of the tables. As for the scratches on them, I was told to use a touch up pen. Would you want to use a touch up pen on NEW FURNITURE??? They did go ahead and order me parts for the shelves. I just got the lower shelves back today for the coffee table and end table. This second coffee table shelf is also damaged. HOWEVER, when they called me today to say there were in, they said they had opened it to "inspect' it. Well, they opened it alright. They used a touch up pen on the parts that are damaged on the second shelf and it still won't line up with the coffee table top. ( It's a lower shelf) I am calling tomorrow to try and get the WHOLE table replaced and my money back on another item I have on order with them. I am done! This place is a total waist of your time and money. Once they have your money, you're out of luck! They will not stand behind the junk they sell. Oh and I was also told my tables were solid wood when I placed my order, as I was going off the sales persons word. They sell mostly out of catalogs. That should have been my first tip off. They try to cut everyone's prices and even have sales ads from other stores hanging in their store. They tell you to go shop at other stores and come to them and they will cut their prices. Nice scam, once they get your money, you get crap. He also stamps your order AFTER you pay, all sales final, so ASK about return policy. Needless to say, when I got my tables they were hardwood and particle board, mostly particle. I am not sure what their idea of solid wood is but these aren't any where NEAR solid wood! If you shop here, shop with caution.

Wow!! I just had a fantastic experience with Expressions! I just moved to the area and was referred to this furniture by several neighbors that highly recommended I check out the "Yellow House on Hwy 99." I did a bunch of driving around town, got prices from a handful of stores but no one could beat Expressions' prices! They saved me over $300 on my sofa, $200 on my dining set. The sales people were friendly and helped me find exactly what I needed. Although they didn't have everything available to see on their showroom floor, I was able to pick out exactly what I wanted from their catalog, and only had to wait 3 weeks for delivery (some other places were up to an 8 week wait). I also liked that I helped support a local, family-owned company and not just another chain store. This was a fun place to shop and they saved me a lot of money!
