I have had my daughter at Children's academy at North lake since she was six months old. I LOVE this place! Her teachers are wonderful, caring, fun ladies. My daughters loves to go! They have a new program director and she is wonderful… they truly make sure my child is well taken care of and all things are handled so I do not have to worry when I drop her off. My child was not in care here when these below reviews were done but perhaps a lot has changed! I can't say enough about how much I love this place!

This place is absolutely HORRIBLE. Although the teachers are nice, most have not been there very long (turnover is extremely high) and are looking for new jobs. The place is run by the brother of the owner and he is a crazy person. If you have any questions or issues about the program he gets upset or worse, just ignores you. The biggest problem they have is the lack continuity among staff during the day. A class of 14 kids will have 4-5 different teachers on 4-6 hours shifts - this is because they don't want to pay benefits. Its frustrating when no one can tell you what your child did during the day or explain why they are wearing a different outfit from the one you sent them to school in. Some of the teachers barely speak English. It used to be a nice place but when their director of 15 years left suddenly, I knew it was only a matter of time before we would need to withdraw. I will be surprised if its still in business in a year or two.

Look at placing your child in ...

Look at placing your child in another daycare center. I have to admit with the releasing of a director that had been with them for over 15 years the business has continue to decrease with time. They have a gentlemen working as a director, and sadly to say he doesn't know anything that is going on with the center. Then on the other hand the young lady director always looks like she is unhappy working there. I have never seen two people that show no communications skills what so ever. I would love to know what education both of them have, because talking to them sometimes can be annoying. I would rather talk to the teachers there then the directors. I have seen this other young lady working there last week, and I swear she looks like she is above everyone else. The center needs to work on communication skills with the upper level, and then work on gettting their people back in there. I will admit I love the teachers, but the administrative board is horrible. I have noticed that within 2 weeks they have lost over 20 kids, and more are following. I have to admit I am looking for another center for my child, because the management staff is killing the parents. SO YES LOOK FOR ANOTHER CENTER................... THIS ONE NEEDS A LOT OF WORK, AND THAT HAS TO START WITH THE TOP LEVEL MANAGEMENT FIRST!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Good childcare

I have our daughter enrolled in the CAON and I believe it is the best facility in the Tucker area. She loves going to "school" and I like the fact that the teacher/child ratios are lower than any other childcare facility in Tucker. Overall we are very pleased with the care she receives here.
