Today I went to this nail salon because it is close to my job and they had 20%off any service for the grand opening. Asked the lady walking around (manager) how long it would take to do a pedicure. She said about 30 minutes. It was 12:20PM when I walked in. It wasn't busy but a few people were getting their nails done and pedicures so two people were working on them at the same time. So at 12:40 the lady (manager) told me it would be 3 minutes, although she was not doing anything. I think she said she does not do pedicures or something like that. At 12:50 she said she was going to do for me. She began rushing and ended up cutting my actual nail on the side and continued to try to cut, although I told her to leave it alone 3 times because I was upset. She asked if it hurt and I said "no and it was not hurting prior to you cutting my nail." She kept getting up because she did not have everything to do the pedicure. Then she stopped to greet customers. She finally painted my toes. She did not even wrap the warm towel around my legs. I paid and left. The space is nice and appears to be clean. I did not actually notice any sterilization of the tools. They may need to hire more people to do pedicures so that people do not have to wait too long. It was almost 1:30 when I made it back to work and I work less than 5 minutes away and did not stop anywhere else. Needless to say I will not be back until they have been around for a while.
