Provided by YP.comAdvantage Air Mechanical installed a new tankless water heater, removed and replaced my gas furnace and air conditioner, and unclogged a pesky toilet. Each time I call Advantage Air Mechanical they responded immediately and completed the work right away. The office staff was helpful and friendly. The technicians were professional, courteous, kept the area clean, and explain what they were going to do before the work started (Thank you Darryl and Chris). Afterwards, they explain how the tankless water heater operates and help me with the touch screen digital thermostat. I so pleased with Advantage Air that I have them come out twice a year to service my A/C.

Provided by YP.comI recommend this company for anything you need fixed with you AC or Heater. I called Advantage air mechanical before I turned on my AC this month. They did a complete check on electrical devices, watched for spots and replaced filters. They were very efficient and professional. I liked the fact that the person that came out to my house put on a pair of booties to not get my carpet and stairway dirty when coming in and out of my house. Definitely recommend them, and I will call them again in the future when needed. I am a very satisfied customer.

I work out of CA, for a Property Management company, but these guys really helped out! I was in a real bind! We've worked with several AC guys out there in Tucson but it all came down to "OK" service and a hassle to asked them to service the units they already serviced a few month ago.
Ended up spending my whole morning trying to contact dozens of other places, all were busy due to the high volume of calls. But when I called Advantage Air , not only was the receptionist very courteous, she was very grateful for our business! (The attitude on the other ones...) And she was able to send out someone the same day! Lifesavers they are!! This was Tuesday around 10am and Greg was out there before 2pm, exactly what she told me.
We will continue doing business with them, they are very good at keeping their word and they accommodate request very well.

Provided by YP.comI hired Advantage Air Mechanical almost 2 years ago when my A/C unit at home died. They gave me a fair price to replace my 22 year old unit with a brand new Trane. The install was clean and fast and I cannot complain about anything. They are very flexible and even allowed me to mail them in a few small installments. I have recommended them to family & friends and everyone has been happy with the service they provide. They can inspect, service or completely replace your home or commercial HVAC system. I would use them again if needed.

Provided by YP.comHad them install a new thermostat. I tried doing it myself but for some reason my HVAC's wiring was off so I couldn't get it working. The thermostat was also a lot smaller than my current once so I wasn't able to figure out how to attack it to the wall since the hole behind the old thermostat was so big. The guy came and fixed whatever the wiring problem was and was able to attach it to the wall with no problems. If I have problems with my HVAC system I'll give them a call.

I just replaced a 20 year old double AC home system with two new Energy Star units. That included putting new coils in both furnace units. They did it quickly and efficiently and at a very reasonable price.
I would recommend them to any of my friends.

Provided by YP.comOur A/C went out last night, and while it was manageable through the night, we had to get it fixed ASAP today, which of course , is a weekend day. My girlfriend and I figured no one would be able to come until Monday, and if someone could come out today, would charge us arm over fist for the service call. My girlfriend remembered getting a referral for Advantage Air Mechanical. I called at 9 a.m., and the tech was here by his promised time of 1030 a.m. He fixed our fan motor, and serviced our A/C unit, and replaced some freon. It took him about an hour and a 1/2 for the entire fix, and, once he was finished charged us a VERY reasonable fee. The tech was extremely nice and polite to boot. They work all over the valley, so if anyone needs their contact information please do not hesitate to contact me. I will recommend them to anyone needing any HVAC service.

Provided by YP.comAwesome! You don't appreciate AC in the summer till you don't have it. I called EVERYONE on Yelp! and every "24/7" place couldn't have a tech come out till tomorrow. Called Dave and he picked up and said he would come out tonight. He was at my place, fixed the issue and was out within an hour and a half. Same day service and he literally had to drive from one side of town to the other. He was polite, knew exactly what the problem was and got my AC up and running again. He even told me what it would cost before he did any repair. Very up front and honest. Highly recommended and I definitely will recommend Legacy Air to anyone I know who needs AC repair or service.
Don't waste your time with the other guys out there!

Provided by YP.comFriday night in the middle of a heatwave and my aircon decides it needs a vacation. These things always seem to happen out of hours. I called up Advantage Air Mechanical since they were so great when I had issues last year. I left a message shortly after 6:30 on Saturday morning and had a call back within 10 minutes. Not only did a tech come out same day, but the repair was done for under 200 bucks on a Saturday! I had braced myself for an out of hours call out fee, or some extra charge, but I only paid for parts (I'm sure there's labor tacked on in the pricing, but it was still completely reasonable). Also, both the office staff and tech were super friendly and professional. These guys really do deserve 6 stars.

Provided by YP.comMy A/C stopped working last night in the middle of the night, which was not pleasant. Got home and tried to self diagnose the problem to no avail. Advantage Air Mechanical was the first to call back, and they had a guy at my house within a couple of hours. 20 minutes on the roof and he fixed the problem. I asked him what the bill was, he said no charge since he wanted to make sure there wasn't more of a problem later on they'd need to come back out for. I tried to peel off a $10 bill to tip the guy, and he refused.
Amazing service. I won't hesitate to use them again!!!

Provided by YP.comAdvantage Air sent out one of the friendliest guys you'll ever meet. He took his time to explain everything that he's doing and even go into detail into any questions you have over how your a/c system works, etc.
I didn't feel rushed at all when he was here and felt no pressure to do anything. All the options were laid out in clear layman's speak and the prices were extremely reasonable! My A/C was fixed in about 30 minutes and what can I say.. Advantage Air Mechanical deserves a 5 star status.

Provided by YP.comFinding good contractors or service people is a challenge, so I figured I would share this team of professional and reliable people that we originally engaged with to conduct our home inspection for Heating & Air Conditioning/HVAC. We then had them come in and repair an AC unit and swap out the thermostats. Since then, we've had them come in and help with electrical work and plumbing including the installation of a water softener. Dave Harder is a great guy and stands behind the quality and satisfaction with his work. His team are equally professional and pleasant to work with.

Provided by YP.comAdvantage Air sent out a guy who was extremely competent in his line of work. He replaced my furnace and most of my duct work located in the crawl space under my house. He also relocated/reconnected my AC unit. I do not live in the Tucson area but knew about the quality of their work by word of mouth. Their Tech made the trip during the weekends to work on this project. Over the past 30 years I started doing more of my own construction mainly because I often found myself disappointed with the quality of work done by the construction industry in general. That also included prior work done on my HVAC system in which some of it was sloppy and subpar at best. This work was part of a larger basement project I was engaged in under the house where I had the opportunity to observe work as he took down some of the existing duct work. Most of the prior duct work just fell off the sheet metal fittings. He paid great attention to detail and took pride in the quality of his work. They were very professional demeanor, a great attitude and work ethic. He also took the time to explain in detail what he was proposing to do and why. He pointed out certain major issues with the prior installation that clearly required attention. I would not hesitate hiring him again.

Provided by YP.comIt was a great pleasure seeking help from Advantage Air Mechanical . They where very prompt, courteous, friendly and highly skillful in diagnosing my HVAC problem. My fairly new (lil over 5 years) central AC unit was shutting down on its own without cooling the house after running for few minutes in scorching AZ heat. I am a engineer and handy myself and tried to tackle the problem on my own. I ran all sort of diagnostics and tests but could not nail the issue. Frustrated, I called some service companies to come out and check my unit. The company that originally installed it told me that it was a bad expansion valve, and they would charge me $800 to fix it, Tech from another company told me it was a bad compressor and since the unit was out of warranty it would cost me $1500 to replace the compressor, I decided to get a third opinion so I called another company, the tech from that company told me that my unit was just a poor unit, and the problem could be with anything, suggesting I purchase a new unit. Needless to say the results of my own tests and diagnosis did not convince me that the issue was either the compressor, expansion valve or just it being a poor unit. I kept searching forums online for a possible cause of the problem which lead me to thermal medic website. I contacted Advantage Air Mechanical and he replied immediately diagnosing my problem to a bad condensor motor. He was right on spot. The motor had a bad bearing causing it to run really hot and shutdown the AC due to thermal protection. I replaced the motor for $150 and voila the AC is back to as good as new. I am glad I contacted Advantage Air Mechanical and not fall for replacing parts or the unit unnecessarily. He helped me diagnose and fix the issue via email. Awesome work!!!

Provided by YP.comIt always starts with a feeling. I just knew our AC unit was going to go out. Call it paranoia, if you want. But that's exactly what happened early Saturday morning in the sticky, hot month of July. What's worse, of course, than warm air streaming from the vents is the thought of finding a repair company who can and will tackle the weekend job without forcing another visit to the bank mortgage officer.
Call one of the big companies, I thought. They'd have the manpower to fix it right and right away. Now was not the time to mess around with a small-time operation. A quick scan of various larger company ratings had me thinking twice about that plan, though. And then through the fog, or steam, as it might have been, beamed the great ratings of Advanatge Air Mechanical A couple people in similar situations had been very happy with the Flores treatment so I started dialing.
Unless you have little kids or a busted AC unit or both, 7 a.m. Saturday likely will not find you answering work calls. I was wrong, a nice guy answered the phone right away. Said he will send someone over in about two hours. Well, a few hours later our polite and smiling technician was sweating his keister off: Pulling out a busted fan motor, faltering capacitor and giving our old unit the full treatment. A few hundred dollars later, cool air was blowing again.
I couldn't have been more pleased with the service I received that day. The guys at Advantage Air Mechanical were responsive, courteous and downright pleasant to interact with. While I hope our AC keeps pumping out cool air for years to come, Advantage Air Mechanical would be my only call if it does not. Thanks, guys!
