After doing business with these guys for over 30 years, I finally got ripped off good. The guy weighing and making tickets apparently was more interested in where to put and how fast to make the material disappear from around the scale, than in serving the customer. Does he not understand that people bring their scrap in so that they can make money? He and the other guy helping him were not discussing with the customer, at all, what they were classifying each bucket of scrap and how much they were going to pay, before the material was emptied somewhere??? These guys did not know what they were doing and were moving so fast that we did not see where they were putting our stuff, or how much any of it weighed. We were helping unload our truck and by the time we got back to the scale, the scrap would be gone. About 2 minutes down the road, after being paid, we realized how we were ripped off, by them not weighing everything we brought, as well as incorrectly classifying some of the scrap. We had a few years worth of scrap, back breaking work, in those (10-12) 5 gallon buckets. Instead of getting top dollar for our aluminum, many buckets! too, they paid us at dirty aluminum prices of $.15. The material disappeared, so fast, no way to prove what we had. We were able to get a few errors corrected, after going back there, but are really pretty pissed about how this whole experience went. That guy needs fired!
