rizona Folklórico Dance Company LLC was established in December of 2022 under the direction of Maestro Bruno A. Loya III in Tucson, Arizona. Arizona Folk (AZ Folk™) is dedicated to preserving Tucson's Hispanic roots through performing arts throughout the greater Arizona community. We present a captivating fusion of traditional and innovative Mexican folkloric dance, drawing inspiration from a variety of dance disciplines such as jazz, ballet, modern, ethnic dance, salsa, merengue, and hip hop. We extend a warm invitation to prospective dance students and their families to join us in celebrating our vibrant culture. Experience the rhythmic wonders and artistic expressions as we embark on a remarkable journey together. Join our AZ Folk™ family, where talent, passion, and creativity thrive. Discover the joy of Mexican folklorico dance with AZ Folk! We welcome dancers ages 4 and up, regardless of prior experience. Our dance classes focus on mastering the art of folklorico dance while also incorporating elements of theatrical dance to create well-rounded performers. Each class level meets twice per week. Beyond dance techniques, our classes instill valuable life skills. Students learn self-discipline, teamwork, and collaboration, fostering a supportive and inclusive environment. As they grow, our students develop confidence while gaining a deep appreciation and pride for the Hispanic heritage that enriches our vibrant Tucson community.
