Their email host is absolutely shaky to say the least. I have been trying to send over paperwork to get the water turned on for my late father's estate for an inspection to sell the home. I have been sending them emails for DAYS and CC-ing my other email addresses on it, as well as my aunt and two realtors. Everyone receives the emails within 1 min of them being sent but 5 days later and literally 15+ brand new emails of sending this documentation they still haven't received it. I have asked multiple Avra representatives for another email to send it to, such as a personal/alternative email, apparently NONE of the people who work at Avra have a personal email (at least this is what I was told). I mean the amount of distress and run around is outrageous. I still can't believe that they say their email host will not receive emails from either my Gmail or Yahoo (you know since Google and Yahoo are such sketchy companies) or attachments in PDF or Doc (are you serious?). I finally had to send screen shots of the documents and this junk they accepted, what a joke.

This is also the second time I have had a unsatisfactory experience with them as earlier this year when my father passed away they turned the water off after only 14 days of non-payment. I mean what if someone had to take an expected family emergency trip or something? My father had just died, the last thing I was going to do between hosting a funeral in MN, caring for an estate in AZ, dealing with all utilities, changing the locks, and entering probate in AZ would be to pay a measly $30 water bill. Thus when I went to care for the home 2 weeks later the water was turned off. Then when I figured all this out a day in, I signed up for a temporary turn on and it was another day of a vacation without using the bathroom or showering in 109 degree heat. We were literally going to the gas station a couple of miles away to utilize their facilities. We were also not alerted when the service was restored and continued using the service station unbeknown to us that our water was on.

The customer service with this definitely missed the mark.

Maybe true co-ownership/customer service would be to do a little research on what a regular utility company would do. These corporate giants seem to have a better run business. Go figure.

Would not have given a star if they didn't make me

Avra valley water is the most horrible company I've ever had to des with have been with them for ten years and they turn me off for being 14 days late bad business practice I'd u don't hav to don't use them
