Established in 2002, Laura Nobles Banks Elementary School is a learning center that provides a variety of educational opportunities to students in kindergarten through grade five. The school has an enrollment of more than 500 students. It offers classes in reading, writing, math and social studies. Laura Nobles Banks Elementary School maintains a parent-teacher association that encourages parental involvement in children s education. It conducts an after-school program that includes games and outdoor activities. The school operates a library media center and student council. Laura Nobles Banks Elementary School also administers the Gifted and Talented Education program, as well as provides speech therapy, psychology and food services. The school is a part of the Tucson Unified School District.
