Founded in 1951, Cragin Elementary School enrolls more than 500 students in kindergarten through grade five. Its academic curriculum includes instruction in language arts, mathematics, science and social studies. The school additionally conducts reading, art, music and physical education classes. Cragin Elementary School also offers Title 1 and English as a Second Language programs, as well as gifted and talented education. It supports band and orchestra clubs.
