I have contracted with Curtis Plumbing for my house plumbing needs more than once. They piped my current house for gas lines for my gas stove and gas dryer and added drain clean outs to the property. Good company to work with!

Curtis has been our go to for all our plumbing issues for years. They know what they are doing. The few times we have had problems they have promptly addressed any issues quickly and professionally. Over the years they have repaired sewer issues, installed new gas lines, replaced old cast iron pipes with upgraded copper or pvc and replaced an old water heater.

VERY EXPENSIVE; VERY GOOD; you get what you pay for

Had water leak in ABS piping connection in bathroom. Fixed it very nicely. I was a somewhat upset that their quote over phone was round $400 but final charge was $816.08; I had emailed them extensive description and multiple photos so they could provide more accurate estimate since they do not do free estimates though I realize they found some other issues they had to fix that were not apparent in my description and photos. I was also upset that the impression they gave me was only one plumber would do the job but he showed up with a trainee and charged me for trainee time also. I will use them again only for involved or complex jobs. They are too expensive for simple plumbing jobs such as toilet install or faucet install.

I've used Curtis Plumbing for my rental properties as well as for my own plumbing needs for 20 plus years. I can't say enough good things about the people who work for them and their fine service. They always set their clients' needs first. They arrive one time, do the job professionally and clean up before they leave.

Thus far we are very satisfied with the work Bill has done at our home. It turned out to be more than we expected, but expect the quality to stand the test of time. Considering the age of our mobile home, the issues were much more involved than we were expecting. We would use them in the future.

For a company advertising bibl...

For a company advertising biblical values and work ethics in their phone and internet adds I really question their integrity. I had a fast approaching escrow closing on the sale of our home. The septic tank required pumping and certification prior to COE. The septic had minor tree root encroachment through a 1/16 inch crack along the cement seam. For this I was told required replacement of tank and that tank would have to be upgraded to a 1250 gal. plastic tank for which none were available for 4-6 weeks at a cost of well over $7,500.00. But if I would like to close my escrow on time for another $400.00 I could upgrade to fiber glass tank and for $1200.00 more they could obtain out of Yuma, AZ. Guess what, second opinion was obtained after discovering a fiber glass tank was readily available in Tucson and the cement septic tank repaired and certified. There were other overcharges as well. Do not believe the alleged biblical values and ethics this company claims to have. While this may be a guiding principle actions speak louder than words.

I concur with other folks offering up 1 star and as such so it is

As very good service was previously the norm at Curtis Plumbing

Your $s were well spent

I have personally directed 1000s there

Complacency has taken hold, well likely it was always there ...just hidden

For us it was missed appointment / no calls ...

Everything premium dollars should shield you from

Update

Sadly the Curtis response was not dissimilar in fashion, to what others are reporting

Curtis was not at all interested in their lack of service

Unable to hear any criticism and absolute their unwillingness to learn

Though very interested in berating me

Wow! Simply no comprehension of customer service

Cheryl Curtis just rambled on about numerous topics

ie;

Number of incoming phone lines, business structure...

Really Cheryl?

To your customer these details are of no relevance

Seemingly it was anything she could come up with to obfuscate my issues

It went so far as;

Cheryl weaving a tale that I was contacted, by her no less

I was never contacted, remember this is what started my epic adventure

I am told internally Curtis did contact themselves, well that's swell

Cheryl bested her own incompetence by:

Telling me I was lying about the conversation between her employee and myself.

Oddly this is was a conversation Cheryl was not privy to

Though she did remain absolute in her knowledge of its contents

note Cheryl never asked this employee what transpired

The conversation was regarding the following days schedule and what would transpire.

Oy Vey, in all Curtis has gone done the drain

The Internets yielded some great corollaries to my own experience

It is a great feeling to be vindicated and to know I was not dreaming

I had an appointment for work to be done between 11-3pm. At 2:01 pm received a call and one message from “Sheryl Curtis” to call back regarding my appointment. I called back at 2:11pm. “Sheryl Curtis” said they had been calling “all morning” and since they “got no response” she cancelled my appointment. I explained the only call and message I received was 10 minutes before and I had no other missed calls or messages. “Sheryl” kept repeating in a rude tone of voice that she had called numerous times “all morning” and “left several messages” insinuating I was a liar. I kept telling her the phone has been by me all day, I have been waiting since my appointment time and that no one had called. She finally said “well maybe I misdialed” and that “she had to send her service man to an emergency”. If she had been polite and said that from the start, I would have been more understanding. Why would I pay and reward a company that is rude, uses an accusatory attitude towards a potential customer and insinuates the customer is lying, when in fact it was the companies fault in the first place? We will not be doing business with them again.

Great Company! My septic spit...

Great Company! My septic spit up junk all over my bathtub because I hadn't pumped it in years. Not only did they come out on the weekend to immediately give it a short-term fix, but the office manager answered all of my septic questions. I'm a city girl, so I had no idea that you need to pump it every six years, or so. Then they came back during the week, so I wouldn't have to pay the weekend rate, with two men, to pump the whole thing out, which was filled to the top. They were very nice and professional, and knew what they were doing. They didn't waste any time getting to work in our 100 degrees plus temperatures, and they even gave us a Senior Citizen discount. I was also happy that they cleaned up all their work, and left my backyard looking just like it did before they did the dig up.
