Founded in 1914, Davidson Elementary School enrolls more than 350 students in kindergarten through grade five. The school s academic curriculum includes classes in English, math, reading, writing, computer, social studies and science. It also offers individual and group counseling services. Davidson Elementary School has a library that provides a collection of books, reference sets and resource materials to its students. It offers student programs related to art and music. In addition, the school administers the Opening Minds Through the Arts program, which includes an arts-infused curriculum. It is a part of the Tucson Unified School District, which operates several elementary, middle, alternative education, high and magnet schools.
