Provided by YPmobileI was in need and asked if they can help me get my truck repaired. They told me we need an estimate. I asked What qualifications are needed to have a vehicle repair
I tried to over and over to get specific details . The only answer they gave me we need an estimate. I informed them I am disabled and need my truck for my wheelchair so I can get to medical appointments. Again they said we need an estimate. I then asked very clearly are there any qualifications or an intake process . Answer again we need an estimate. I then asked the man again same answer
I told him my situation that I don't work am applying for SSDI
AND if anyone there was aware of any guidelines. Again I was informed please we need an estimate. So with that being said I had my insurance company tow my trucks to Sears. Sears called to verify the program and proceeded to find out why my truck had stopped running. Finally Sears found the problem and called me I was shocked by the price and what my truck needed but had faith that interfaith community services would help.A few days went by finally a call from Jose at interfaith community services he said we can't repair your truck. I understand the price was high $1,121.28 I assumed that's why they could not pay for the repairs. I was then told by Jose the reason wasn't the price it was because I didn't qualify. I asked why? He said because you are not working. I then said I had explained my situation about working. He said sorry have a good day.Now my only transportation is basically impounded at Sears for over 2 weeks. If he had said the cost of the repair was to expensive I would have agreed and suckered it up.Instead I was decline because I wasn't working and I made that very clear.
