Luz Social Services is a private, nonprofit community based corporation founded in 1971 to provide health and human services to the Hispanic communities as well as the general population of Tucson in Arizona. The organization focuses on community mobilization and development, and provides prevention services for substance abuse, juvenile crimes, school dropouts and violence. It also provides prevention services for drug possessions and arrests, teen pregnancy, liquor law violations, and alcohol and tobacco use by pregnant women.
