Founded in 1997, Metropolitan Pima Alliance is a group of individuals that is involved in the development of the real estate through education, public policy advocacy and networking. Located at Tucson, Ariz., the group educates and influences public policy and decision making for Metropolitan Pima County. Since its inception, it has grown to become a major voice in the community on growth related issues and has led the charge on recent items, such as refining the City of Tucson's Certificate of Occupancy code, negotiating with the City of Tucson and Pima County on deferring or delaying impact fees and creating a well-balanced rainwater harvesting code in Oro Valley. Metropolitan Pima Alliance is affiliated with the Alliance of Construction Trades, the Arizona Builders Alliance, Imagine Greater Tucson and the Marana Chamber of Commerce.
