As a first time buyer I was somewhat apprehensive and a little intimidated. I have to say that Thomas was amazing. Easy to talk to, knowledgeable, patient and very professional. I recommend highly. I went away very happy with everything I needed at a very fair price.

I have known of Murphy's since the late 1970's or so. Most recent transaction was a couple fancy ruger .22's. No hassles, a really fair appraisal, and a check in the mail in a few weeks.

I have used them two times in the past to receive guns I have bought from out of state and have looked for specific guns on other occasions. Each time it was clear that they really had no interest in taking care of my needs. I will never darken their door again. Just so you know, I currently own well in excess of 50 rifles and pistols.

I went in to see about a trigger job on my pistol. I was there at least 15 minutes before I could get someone to even acknowledge me, then they talked down to me like I was an idiot, and said their gunsmith only works on some peoples guns, and he won't take any new customers.



All I saw was attitude and greed, if you're not one of the good ol' boys with lotsa bucks, look elsewhere. Another reviewer mentioned "holier than thou", and that about sums it up.
