Founded in 1909, National Association for the Advancement of Colored People (NAACP) is one of the largest civil rights organizations in United States. A number of workers, organizers, leaders and members of NAACP fight for social justice of Americans. The organization works towards ensuring political, educational, social, and economic equality among citizens and achieving race prejudice among United States citizens. It also attempts to remove barriers of racial discrimination through democratic processes. Additionally, it educates persons about their constitutional rights.
