I had a water heater replaced under my home warranty.They replaced a natural gas heater with one for Liquid Propane. I have been trying for nearly a week to get them to fix this. Understand, THEY have never called me, I have had to call them. Saturday night, they said they would be out Monday to fix this. Monday when I CALLED, they said it would be later in the day. At 4 pm Monday, AFTER I CALLED AGAIN they said they would be out between 8 and noon Tuesday. At 9 am on Tuesday, WHEN I CALLED AGAIN, now it is 3-6 pm today. Can't they give me a definite time? They created the problem, NOT me. I didn't install the wrong water heater, THEY DID.I have now been without hot water for a week. This is totally bull. I have out-of-town visitors coming for Thanksgiving, and my concern is hot water, NOT Thanksgiving. PASS on this petards.Wayno

I had a hotwater heater go out so called a different plumber that I had used in the past (who advertises a very inexpensive cost for water heater replacement) when the man arrived I was told that i did not qualify for the quoted price as i had code issues and the price would be 7 times what i was quoted. I told the plumber I would have to get more money than I had for the repair and do price comparison. when I did my comparison shopping One of the companies I called was rooter king, as a friend had told me about them, when their man arrived and checked my system I was informed that I do in fact have some problems with my system that would have to be corrected and approved by the city but his price was less than half what I was quoted by the other company, kI allowed rooter king to instal the new water heater and make the repairs. I found them to be very honest and competent they have a very happy customer and will get my calls in the future.

The man who came to our house to give us a quote on a major job, was very arrogant and acted as though we owed it to him to give him the job because he drove (he said) across town to give us an estimate. It was stated clearly on the phone that we were gathering a few estimates because it was going to be expensive for us. He wanted to look at our previous estimates to see if he could beat them. We just wanted an honest and best quote he could give us so we said no to his request. He left in a huff. My husband offered his hand in thanks for coming and was ignored(he did arrive when he was expected) . This type of person should not be in a business that deals with the general public if he cannot operate on the premise that the customer is always right. Or at least be curteous and do your best.
