I first went on a Thursday thinking it was the Karaoke night. The place was packed with dance partners of all ages enjoying the dancing. The floor is large with plenty of tables on both the left and right sides. The stage was more than adequate for the band.
I returned on Tuesday, yesterday, for the Karaoke contest and arrived a few hours early. The Maverick is a very attractive place. I like the big boot neon sign and all the other Western items decorating the inside. The bar is long and most important the staff were very courteous and very efficient. The food is good and reasonably priced. The band was excellent and I enjoyed singing. I felt very comfortable there and very safe. I will go back. It definitely is COUNTRY.
I like the NEW MAVERICK. Eons ago I went to the 'OLD' Maverick.
I would recommend Maverick King of Clubs to anyone who likes country music and who likes to dance. The clientele are a good group of people.
