Do NOT trust these people to do the right thing!

My son starts moving his possessions on the 28th to his new apartment. lease ended on the 31st. He returns on the 30th to find that they already started renovations, breaching his warranty of habitability prior to the end of his lease. And his things were missing.

Took photos. First thing out of their mouth was "prove it." Then they admitted that they had made an error in starting the renovations but needed to see if maybe his possessions had been placed in storage.

A week later my son is told that his possessions were unable to be located. Okay, so what kind of restitution can he expect? Need to contact corporate. Another week and basically they tell him they can't do anything. But my spouse's name is also on the lease. He located the number of the Vice President of the Apartment complex and left a message to be contacted. Another week later and no attempt to contact us has been made.
