This place has amazing customer service, and they are very reliable! Family run business for over 30 years!

I bought my wedding dress there and Bridesmaids also, and Tuxes...Excellent service. Great selection. Customer service was above and beyond. They were recommended by a friend that loved them and I am so grateful. Reasonable prices and alterations are lower then anyone around that I have went to. Thank you to an awesome group of people for making my Wedding Day a dream come true!!! Highly Recommend!!

My stepdaughter bought a dress at Davids Bridal in Fresno. We live in Tulare and we needed to get the dress altered. So we decided to take it to A Formal Affair in Tulare. The seamstress was not there and my daughter dropped it off. She asked what the price would be and they did not say or give an estimate. So later we expected a phone call before they started work and we got none. Then my wife called and they said they were done and it would cost $55. My wife then questioned them about why they did not tell her earlier. She would not have had it done. She then went down to the location to discuss and they got in an argument with her. My wife asked why they did not call with an estimate they stated that we are too busy Tobe calling everybody. So they can basically charge what they want because they can hold your garment for ransom. On top of that she gets there and they tell her that there would also be tax on the service. The owner then stepped in and would not let my wife speak. First off this is rude. My wife took the dress and went home. Then she called the location and talk to the owner Judy Wyllie about the taxes. Judy stated that they can charge tax and that they also charge more for alterations if you did not purchase in the location but they never disclosed this. Well too late my wife was too upset. My wife then called Betty Brite in Tulare and they were shocked that she charged taxes on the service and how much that they charged for the service. All of this for a simple Hem!! I would not recommend.
