I read one review on this site and it seemed very different from the doctor I know. I would like to give my opinion on the staff,doctor and office. I have used Dr. Windley for over 7 years and he and his staff have always been professional and caring to me and my pets. When you walk in this office you immediately know that they love animals. Clients are welcomed from a variety of domestic,farm and exotic animals....it feels like a unique vet practice and one that cares. My girlfriend picked up some pills for my black labs weight problem and she called to tell me she wanted to take her daughter in because of the diversity of animals in the office. As a member of the Tullahoma community for my entire life ( 38 years) I can say its nice to have a office that knows it's people like this office.

The most unprofessional group of people. They promised to sedate, then tranquilize my dog before euthanizing him, and to do in the back of my car while I would hold him. The day I show up for this to be done, he refuses to tranquilize him or do it in the car. When I remind him calmly of our agreement, he says, "goodbye" and turns his back on me. Meanwhile, my dog is sedated mildly and needs to be put down as he's in a lot of pain from cancer. I bring him in and he dies shaking, scared, tense and in the arms of strangers (vet techs). He pronounces him dead and walks out of the room. No comforting words from anyone. I go out to my car stunned. He walks out to mechanically tell me he's sorry for my loss and wonders why I'm so upset, did he not die humanely he asks. I told him he was scared his final moments and my dog didn't deserve that. He told me my dog wasn't scared. Would a dog need to go potty on himself to prove he was scared, or does trembling and shaking count? My advice? Stay away.
