The Schmiede Corporation has a climate controlled 100,000-square-foot facility on 20 acres. The company specializes in high-precision machining, special machines, fixtures, jigs, tooling and gages. It is a machine tool re-builder and CNC retrofitter, producing15 to 25 percent of total sales. In 1998, the Schmiede Corporation was registered with ISO-9001 certification.
