Child Welfare Office is a part of the Oklahoma Department of Human Services. It offers a range of support services for adults, children, youths and families. The office provides adoption assistance services, including financial assistance and medical support. The office also provides adult protective services, such as investigating reports of abuse, neglect and exploitation of vulnerable adults. In addition, Child Welfare Office supports children by establishing legal paternity, locating noncustodial parents' addresses and employers, and establishing child and medical support orders. It also enforces support for married, separated and divorced parents and modifies support orders. The office offers postadoption services, tribal child support, and refugee and utility assistance.
