Provided by YPmobileLong story short... I grew up in church. My family went to a tulsa Nazarene church. I remember watching the gospel bill(Willie George) shows when I was younger. After I graduated and was more independent I started visiting various churches to find where I could worship and grow as a Christian the best. Church on the Move has fulfilled every need! I not only enjoy their music but also the sermons. I would recommend visiting this church and considering it your church home.

Provided by YP.comIt does seem that the pastor there has a need to be in control that comes across as a bit cult-like
He is a good communicator and maybe one of the best marketers I have ever seen. He could sale ice cubes to Eskimos : )
I went there for nearly 7 years. Only once did I hear him say time that he every sins and he said it was not smiling at a person he walked by. Give me a break.
Because I learned more of personal history over the years it seemed to me he was good at pointing out the sin of others, but blind or at least unaware of his own self righteousness.
Reminds me of the final few years of Jimmy Swaggert.
Hopefully the pastor at COTM will realize he has a much more serious sin problem than forgetting to smile at someone.
The self righteous seemed to get the most severe condemnation from Jesus, it may do the pastor at COTM some good to consider this.
But that's one thing about the self righteous they never see themselves as sinning.
He really needs your prayers.

Provided by YP.comDear "dreamer", I think before you accuse a church of being a part of the occult, you should know what the heck the occult is. I think the word you were looking for was a "cult". The occult is basically the worship of Satan. Now I have gone to Church on the Move for many years, and I can admit that it is not 100% perfect (no church is perfect because it is man-made). However, accusing this church of being a part of the occult is totally inaccurate. Whenever anything like Satan, witchcraft, demons, etc, is mentioned by Pastor George, he is rebuking it and teaching his congregation how to defeat such adversaries. He has never told anyone to worship the devil!
Now, I'm going to give you the benefit of the doubt and guess that you confused the term "occult" with "cult". In which case, you have no authority to accuse this church of being a cult if you yourself don't even know the proper vocabulary! Besides, just because a church closes its doors at a certain time does not make it a cult. Most PACs close their doors when a show starts. Does that make the performing arts a cult? Well, I guess I better throw away my tickets to the Tulsa Ballet because according to you, I must be a Satan worshiper! Anyways, you are being completely ridiculous. Yes, their policy of locking the doors is inconvenient, but you must understand where this is coming from. Have you ever been to a church where the people are strolling in during the service? It's very rude and distracting. I want to go to a church where people care enough to get to service early and make time for church. If one time is inconvenient for you, Church on the Move has a ridiculously large amount of service options for you to pick from. Anyways, calling a church a cult is a very serious accusation, and you should check yourself before you make this same mistake again. You just demonstrated your ignorance and made your review completely irrelevant.

Provided by YP.comI went here for a long time. but they started making rules about the time you get there. if your late. you don't get in you have to set in the lobby. I do not believe this is of God at all. He would not put a time frame on anyone. If you join this church you "must" volunteer. I love the songs they are a little rockish but so good. I love to hear the preacher so far as I could tell he speaks the word of God but to shut people out is not of God at all. I had a surgery and there was not way to get my grandchildren to their services and back to mine before they closed the door. I was never bothered by people coming in or out of the service as long as they are quiet and respectful. The change they made has made me search for another church. Their acting more like an occult in my eyes. and occults are not of God. before their changes I would have given them all 5 stars. I am very disappointed with this church.
