Provided by YP.comDr. Rapacki did my daughters neck surgery. We were concerned at first. His bedside manner wasn't great. He was very matter of fact and covered all of the possibilities with us. She left his office in tears.... BUT... I would rather have an awesome surgeon than one that has great bed side manner any day. Dr. Rapacki and his staff have taken excellent care of my daughter and I would recommend him to EVERYONE!!! After it was all over and she was ok and healing great, we did see another side to him. I can appreciate what people say about his personality. I really can but he is VERY skilled and wonderful Dr. I also have to give a shout out to Ingrid, his nurse practitioner. She is kind and sweet and listens to you. She never rushes you. He has the skills but she relates on a personal level. They balance each other out.

Provided by YPmobileI was referred to Dr Rapacki by OSU medical after a fall. MRI showed lots of damage to my spinal cord. With surgery I am a new person! Thank you Dr Rapacki for giving me my life back!

Provided by YP.comI had two visits with Dr Thomas Rapacki and it was the worst experience ever with a medical provider. On both occasions his office called on the actual due date to inform me they would have to re-schedule me. The last time I was driving on the way to my appointment. His staff member called me telling me he was on call & they would have to change my appointment. I was furious. I informed his staff that I had scheduled time off from work & they better find some way to fit me in that day. They squeezed me in that day, but I had to drive all the way to Tulsa to see him. Then when I finally got to see Dr Rapacki, I tried to explain what the problem was & even brought him copies of all my medical records from all the other specialist I had been referred to throughout my whole ordeal, trying to seek a solution. He just sat there saying "uh-hum" over and over. Not once did he look me in the face to acknowledge my presence. At the end he simply stated there was nothing he could do from his perspective. No recommendation or anything. I was so furious. I looked at him and said "This has been a total waste of my time, gas and money" and walked out. His whole attitude was very arrogant. When he did speak to me, it was like he was above me & I was below his feet not worthy of his attention. I would never recommend this physician.

Provided by YP.comDr. Rapacki was on call the day my son was taken to St. Johns Hospital with a head injury caused by a fall when he had a seizure. The doctor was very direct with us (even blunt) regarding my son's diagnosis. After surgery and three months in hospital and physical therapy, he (my son) is mostly back to normal as we knew it before the fall. I appreciated Dr. Rapacki's excellent skill, ongoing care and being so patient in answering my questions which were exceedingly dumb.
