Provided by YP.comI have never been treated so rudely by either a nurse or a scheduler. I will never use them, NEVER
First said I needed a referral, got one then was told they would have to give the info to the doctor and then they would let me know if I could come

Provided by YP.comI was very unnerved by a few things but greatful for others. When i first met the doctor i would not sign a contract because my PCP already takes care of all my pain medications i just wanted to get the steroid shots, physical therapy as well as whatever else they could do to help. Dr. Hale was great and told me about several tests he wanted to run on me as well as the shot and physical therapy. I am on WC so i know it is difficult to get approval for testing, etc. During the time i was waiting for physical therapy to start they would not return my phone calls and even if you call the scheduling desk it always go strait to voicemail. Needless to say i never got into physical therapy. I finally got a call to schedule my shot and got that out of the way after about 3 weeks. Then about 3 more weeks later they called to ask how i was doing and i told them i had not been in physical therapy the entire time and was then told that they would get it set up as well as the other testing the doctor wanted to do. Another 2 weeks later after i left a message almost every day i finally got a call back and was told that i would be transfered back to my old doctor (a surgeon) even after i had said "No Surgery" and then another week and a half later i got a call out of no where stating that i was no longer Dr. Hales patient and that he said i could go back to work until i saw the other doctor. Doctor Hale did none of the testing he promised and just basically dropped me to another doctor and the way i see it is that he just did not want to have to keep dealing with my constant calls about what was going on and also having to deal with workers comp to get any of those tests he promised approved. I am sad and disapointed because i was so hopefull that he would help me and that there was something else i could do besides surgery because it is not something i want to have done on my back due to having heard so many horror stories about it.......
As far as the person on here who is mad that they were dropped....If you get pain meds from your PCP you should not be getting them from a pain management doctor!! I thought that was called Doctor shopping and being in the legal buisness this is not something that is legal , once you sign the pain contract your are no longer allowed to recieve ANY pain medication from any other doctor, even if it is for a totally seperate issue' It says that on the contract that you signed (that i take it you did not read through) and you honestly should have taken that as common sence.... :(

Provided by YP.comDr.Hale is an amazing doctor who actually works for YOU as opposed to the insurance companies he deals with. I've been off of work since October of 10 due to an ankle injury which ultimately turned into RSD. I went months with little to no treatment, just waiting on the Workers Comp people to make a move and approve things. I had seen several doctors over a few months until I finally got a referral to Dr.Balbas at Tulsa Bone and Joint. He then believed I had RSD and referred me to Dr.Hale at Tulsa Integrated Pain Services. This was in February. I'm not going to lie and say that he stopped all of my pain, or even close to it. I'm not going to say he cured me and my live is infinitely better, because its not, and I still have an insane amount of pain constantly. What I can so though is that once I got to Dr.Hale I found a doctor who's going to stick with me no matter what. He's tried multiple things with minimal results. He has extreme limitations to what he can do on my because of my Workers Comp people limiting him. But he does fight for me, and that counts , alot.
