Provided by YP.comI went to Jiffy Lube for an oil change. They quoted 20-30 mins. An hour later they finished the oil change. While they were conducting the final inspection they broke my dipstick. They say that it was rotted because it was so old (2004) but I've never had a problem before. A piece of the dipstick handle got stuck in the tube that holds the dipstick. At first they tried to get me to leave with it broken and the piece stuck in it. Finally when I made it clear that I wouldn't leave until they fixed it they were able to push the pieces through the tube into the oil pan. They flushed the oil out and refilled it. At this point it had been 2 hours since I had pulled in but they got the oil change done. I asked them to put in writing the situation in case a piece of the handle caused problems later. It took me 30 more minutes to get them to write a statement describing the problem and what they did to fix it. Then they wouldn't sign it. Kenny Gaddis, the manager, refused to sign the statement at first saying that what I had was enough. After making sure he understood I wouldn't be leaving until he signed, he scribbled what he called a signature but looked more like abstract modern art. It was obvious it wasn't his real signature so I asked to speak with the area supervisor. Kenny wouldn't help me get in touch with the supervisor. I had to call the corporate office myself. When I called their corporate office I spoke with a secretary who said she would have the supervisor call me back. Instead of calling me he called the manager, Kenny. Who after speaking with the supervisor on the phone for another 30 minutes said he would sign the statement properly. This was a lie. He signed it again in the same ridiculous fashion as the first time. I asked to speak with the area supervisor who was just as rude and did nothing to change my opinion of the company. So 3.5 hours after I pulled in I realized I had gotten all I was going to get from him so I left completely dissatisfied and very angry. Kenny Gaddis was the rudest and most unprofessional manager I've ever experienced. I don't often have problems with places I go to because I'm normally willing to give them the benefit of the doubt. I'm sure the damage caused was unintentional but the way they handled it was the worst customer service experience I can remember. Don't go to this store if you want to get an oil change with pleasant customer service. I am telling everyone I know to avoid it because of how poorly I was treated.
