I've financed 2 houses with Mortgage Clearing since 1990. They are fantastic when it comes to details of VA home loans. Barbara Wilson is the best! And Amanda has done 2 of my closings. She makes sure all the closing papers are clearly understood. And payments can be set up on monthly ACH auto-draft payments with personal banking. I highly recommend them!

They are horrible to work with! When you call and ask them a question, they will lie to you. We dealt with a lady who kept saying we were this many months behind on our mortgage, so whenever we caught it up, well when we thought we caught it up according to them, we thought we were good until the next payment date. Low and behold they called me and told me were still behind 1 payment, so when I asked to speak to the lady that told me were caught up, she denied telling me and my husband this. So we made that payment. Now we have a surplus in our escrow that we're owed of over $800. When I asked when we would recieve it, they told me the first 2 weeks of Feb. Still haven't seen it,so I called earlier and asked again and they told me the last 2 weeks of Feb. Like I said they lie...

terrible company needs to be closed for bad business practices. i was current on my mortgage (even tho it jumped from 959.00 to 1789.00) as of jan 2014, bought house in 2009, and was foreclosed on in march of 2014 sheriff sale was set for april 2014 and we filed chap 13 to keep the house. had some financial troubles and just got a notice today that we have 14 DAYS!!!!! to evict the house. I will do whatever i have to do to make these sorry SOB's know what it feels like to have to loose everything and try to pack up 2 toddlers 2 and 3 yrs old plus me and my wife... do not deal with these crooks they have made my life hell and it was the biggest mistake I've ever made going with these snakes.

Worst mortgage company! They will try to tell you that your loan may be eligible for a modification but will also try to foreclose on you. This has happened twice & now our review is still pending (6 months later!). Trying to get a hold of someone to talk to is a joke, they either won't answer or won't return calls/emails. If you find that your loan is being serviced through MCC refinance or don't get a home. It's that bad!

Not good! Don't let your mortgage broker talk you into having your loan serviced here. Setting up any autodraft is very manual i.e. sending in forms for everything!! You can not adjust your payment to add principle or escrow without more difficult intervention on your part. Just look at the website and all the forms you have to send in. THEY DO NOT SEND YOU A COUPON BOOK DESPITE WHAT THEY SAY!! You must chase them in order to make a payment.



What if they do not get your payment??? YOU HAVE TO FOLLOW UP WITH THEM AND CONFIRM EVERYTHING OR IT IS YOUR FAULT. HORRIBLE!!! SO GHETTO!!!

there needs to be a negative star available. DO NOT do business with this company. Been "fighting" with them for over a year. They tried to forclose on my house because acording to them they had not received a payment in a year. But with proof that my bank was had been sending them the payments and they were not cashed they tried to blame the mistake on the bank. It was not the banks fault it was theirs. They offered to "tack" the past due amount to the end of the loan and refinance. A year and a half later I am still trying to find out the status of the refi. I try to contact them by email and by phone with no progress. There is no response to emails and all you get when you call up there is a voicemail which they dont return. They have raised our payment by almost $400 with no explaination.

If only there was a zero star available to check. These guys are the worst. Horrible receptionist, lousy service and no responsibility when at fault. Over 2 months on a simple refi and they blame Obama. Give me a break. Run the other way if possible.
