Northwest Pipeline GP is an interstate natural gas transportation company. It owns and operates a natural gas pipeline system extending from the San Juan basin in the northwestern New Mexico and southwestern Colorado. The company provides services for markets in California, Arizona, New Mexico, Colorado, Utah and Washington. It transports and stores natural gas for a broad mix of customers, including local natural gas distribution companies, municipal utilities, direct industrial users, electric power generators and natural gas marketers/producers. In addition, it offers interruptible and short-term firm transportation services. Northwest Pipeline GP is a subsidiary of The Williams Companies Inc.
