Provided by YP.comUpon entering the facility the first thing to hit you is the strong smell of pinesol, which permiates all the residents clothing and belongings. Shower once a week or longer. The residents needs are met, but there are no planned activities or exercise programs. They can sit in the living room or dining area, but choose to stay in their own rooms most of the time. The only interaction they get is at mealtime.
Very clean facility. The meals are good and nutritious.
Only one person per shift for 6 residents. That person is responsible for all cooking, cleaning and care of the residents. This includes mopping, vacuuming, changing beds and showers.
Staff is not allowed to converse with family. My family member was continually blamed for her behaviors related to dementia, as purposeful. It was a nightmare for all of us.
