Provided by YPmobileI wanted to switch clinics because I moved in to the Olympia area, and was not happy with my prior clinic that I had been going to for 8 years in Lacey. I was extremely happy and comfortable with this clinic and their staff. A surgery my dog needs .. Cost 1/3 of the price at my now "former" clinic .. And the doctor spent over an hour with me and my dog ... Awesome clinic ...highly recommended!!!!

This is a great vet, with good caring people. Some previous views seem more than a little far fetched given my experiences with the place over the last four years. Everyone has always been nice to us and our kitty. Dr. Baylus is very good with our kitty, thorough. She can be difficult to get an appointment with, but Dr. Jenny is also good (can't remember the last name). If any points are lost from me, it would be that the chairs are kind of uncomfortable in the waiting room and they could use a face lift in general. The only time I've had to wait that long was on a Saturday, it is walk ins only that day but if I needed to go on that day again I'd prefer the seat in my car. I always tell my children that it is your insides which matter, and that is true here. This place has a great heart.

I took my cat in for routine dental cleaning and they went him home with blood in both ears. I didn't realize this until I got him out of the carrier at home. He was deaf and falling down. I took him to Olympia Pet Emergency that night and they were couldn't believe he hadn't been given any pain killers. After taking him back to Deschutes, they said there would be an 85% chance he'd recover. Short story: They'd done an overly aggressive ear cleaning on the cat--not just CHECK his ears, which is what I'd asked them to do. 6 months later, the cat is still deaf although his balance is mostly back. This clinic not only did not supervise the vet techs well, the front office staff was also horrible to me when I complained. I wouldn't take a tadpole to this clinic. They're not competent--and on top of that, they're rude.

I have been searching for a vet to help me with my potbelly pig, to get his toenails trimmed and his tusks trimmed. Dr Castle was great with him, he allowed me to assist him in the whole process and was able to take care of his needs in a quick, calm manner, providing a relatively stress free environment for my pig. I will go back to Dr Castle anytime my piggy needs his teeth or nails done in the future, I am very grateful for Dr Castle and his appreciation for my pet pig.

IF U CARE ANYTHING ABOUT UR ANIMALS U WILL NOT GO TO THIS ANIMAL CLINIC. EXTREMELY POOR SERVICE. ESPECIALLY THE LADIES UP FRONT. THEY LET U STAND THERE WHILE THEY CHIT CHAT.. MY DOG NEEDS SUGERY AND WAS REFERRED OUT OF DESCHUTES. I HAD A TERRIBLE EXPERIENCE THERE AND NOW THEY WONT EVER FORWARD HER RECORDS OR XRAYS TO THE SURGEON. I CALLED AND EVERYONE SEES THE REQUESTS FROM THE SURGEON BUT NO ONE KNOW WHY THEY WEREN'T SENT; CANT TALK TO OFFICE MANAGER HES NEVER THERE. ITS JUST A TOTAL RUN AROUND WHILE UR ANIIMAL IS SUFFERING.
