I'm so upset! As an elder I have managed to avoid going into stores and government buildings since March 2020 when it became clear that the pandemic was serious. But yesterday I had NO choice but to go inside a post office to return a purchase because the online USPS site required that I have a box in order to qualify for lowest rate offered online with tracking. Unbelievably, Tumwater USPS had locked the front doors! They re-routed us to the back of the building and forced us to go through the vestibule of those with rented mailboxes where there's obviously MORE people and exposure to Covid-19 and aerosols. I was behind a mother and child with no masks on! Then, walk down a long hallway into a tight space with NO air! If we could have gone in the front doors then more fresh air would be available AND we would be less exposed to others. Also it would be quick in and out of the building. I'm so upset! AND there were other people in there with NO masks! Masks should be required of everyone in government buildings. Tonight I have a fever, stomach ache, and sore throat. After 8 months of quarantine the USPS exposed me! I'm so upset!
