Since 1905 the Tupelo Fire Department s activities include answering a variety of emergency calls, as well as providing fire and safety education opportunities. Our safety education programs include station tours, speakers for clubs or meetings at its fire and rescue training center. The department operates seven stations with a combined staff of more than 80 employees. The Tupelo Fire Department provides fire suppression and basic life support and emergency medical services, along with a trained and equipped special operation group of dive rescue specialists, hazardous material technicians and rope rescue specialists. The Tupelo Fire Department is located in Tupelo, Miss.
