Provided by YP.comYou have to go with Matson Alarm! The people on the phone were so nice and my sales guy really explained how everything works (this is my first alarm system) and all the features that come with it (I love that if someone were to get into my house I could push one button and Matson would know that I was really in trouble)! The tech was friendly and got everything installed really quickly. I did have to sign a contract, but I figure that it's OK because I really like them, plus you have to sign a contract with basically any alarm company. Definitely go with Matson!!

Provided by YP.comDON'T USE THEM! We were broken into 3 times and they never contacted us! (The phone line was cut but they had run it right by the back door-duh!) Then when we switched companies (after being with them for at least 15 years) because of their ineffeciency they billed us over $400. STAY AWAY!
We at Matson Alarm are sorry and disappointed that we did not live up to your expectations. Unfortunately, alarm systems are not a guarantee that a business or home will not get broken into. Since alarm signals are sent over telephone lines, it is true that our central station cannot receive those signals if the telephone line is cut; unfortunately the phone company is the one that runs phone lines and we must work with the existing placement. A good solution for homes/business that are worried about having their phone line(s) cut is to install a radio backup so that if something were to happen the central station will still be able to receive alarm signals. 99% of Matson Alarm accounts are leased security systems, which means that the business owner or home owner is able to rent the equipment at a discounted price for signing a contract. When a customer decides that they no longer need service for any reason they are still responsible for the remaining balance on the contract, just like many other companies that work with contracts. Again, we apologize for not taking better care of you as a customer and wish you the best.
