We were passing through and planned to stop for the night at the Comfort Inn just off Exit 76 on Doris Pate Drive. We were in a 26' truck and missed the turn onto Doris Pate Drive. We drove to the first red light to make a left turn onto Woodland Hills Drive. Before we saw the "No 18 wheelers" sign at a service station, we already were in the left turn to go into the service station. We were towing an auto transport trailer and got stuck. The Tuscaloosa Police Department officer was very kind and helped us out of a very unpleasant situation. He is to be commended for his professionalism. This all occurred on 12/7/2010 at 6:30 P.M.
