Do NOT take your vehicle to Do-it-Best in Tuscola!!! I am so ticked off!! Three weeks ago I took my car to them to get the air conditioner fixed. When I took this into Do it Best, I told Rick who is the manager, that the guys at work had put the dye in my lines and saw this leaking down at the bottom of the front of the car by the condenser. Rick said, “I know exactly what you are talking about”. So I left it in his hands and he did his thing. I get a call from him that it needs new lines, I am assuming he means one of them was down by the front bumper so I agree. He calls back and it’s done, he says he put in new lines at a cost of over $500, I trusted that he changed the correct part. But a week later it blows hot air again! So I dropped it off again to them.....they just called.....hmmm...seems in that time that I have had it back, so Rick says, “I must have hit something and threw a rock onto my condenser putting a hole in it and it will be another $675 to fix it” !!!! This is the SAME part I told him had a hole per the guys at work?!?!? And he thinks I will pay him another $675, you have to be kidding me!! Had he checked the part I told him about first, this would have saved a lot of grief and some business for his service center. Well this morning he leaves a message on my phone and said that after thinking about it last night, he doesn’t want anyone to have hard feelings he will do the repair for the cost of the parts at $275. BULL!! This is the part I told him had a hole when I walked in and first talked to him This was a $520 lesson I learned about that place!!! No way will they touch my car again; I want the money back I gave them the first time!!!!

I normally don't review products or businesses but I just had to comment on my latest purchase at Tuscola Do It Best Home Center. I bought the Little Giant Select Step 5 - 8 ft. step ladder and I have to say, this is THE best ladder I have ever owned! Just as advertised on TV, it is easy to adjust and makes any job on a ladder much easier. Love the air deck and the work platform, really makes me feel so much more stable being on a ladder. The other thing I love is that their price was $20.00 less than I could find it anywhere else! I love it when I can get a better deal locally and save even more if you figure in the gas money and the higher sales tax driving out of town to get it!
